How long have you been in business?
As a true marketing firm, since August 2008. For the seven years prior, however, I worked with small to mid-sized business owners as a personal and business coach. I found much of that time centered around attracting their customers.
What is your primary product or service?
Marketing and public relations support. Sure, I do the traditional press releases and press kits and such, but with the constantly evolving nature of media these days, there's so much more out there . . . video, blogging, newsletters, etc.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Back when my husband and I launched a small technology consulting firm. He was the real techie, so much of the project management and promotion of the business fell to me to handle. Marketing and public relations became a passion as I quickly learned how much creativity and finesse they required.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I work on a contract basis and I provide top-notch client management. I certainly love putting together full campaigns and going all out with a client start to finish, but small business owners often can't afford that. In order to work with them, I have to provide service in such a way that they can break off little bits at a time.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just the one and no plans for expansion. I aim to keep it pretty small. I like focusing on my clients and my homelife. Growing too much would mean delegating the work and I just enjoy it too much!

Nation-wide. I work with several local clients, but also support clients throughout the country.

I do.
What are your hours of operation?
Flexible. Generally 10-2:30, Mon-Fri. But, I work lots of early AMs and late PMs to make sure I maitain the at-home balance and have time with the kids when they are around.
