Offering community search assistance to seniors & their families as they are faced with the need to move out of their home into a more supportive environment.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Working with seniors has been a passion for many years. I believe the Triangle area offers some of the highest quality care and services to seniors and truly enjoy matching folks with their personal best fit in regards to community living.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Having worked in senior housing for 8 years prior to starting Senior Housing Consultants offered me a tremendous amount of experience "behind" the scenes. During that time I worked with hundreds of families in navigating housing options for not only Independent Living but Assisted Living and Alzheimer's Care as well. Seeing how families struggled with this decision is truly what opened my eyes to how the process could be simpler by offering a more personalized approached.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently we cover Wake, Durham & Orange county
What type of payments do you accept?
All services are offered at no cost to the senior or their family. Senior living communities trust and believe in the quality of our services they reimburse us for our assistance. Similar to a realtor relationship when you are buying a house where the realtor is paid for by the "seller". In this case the "seller" would be represented by the community that you choose.
