How long have you been in business?

What is your primary product or service?
pet portraits , still life paintings and landscapes, oil on stretched canvass
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was inspired to paint at the age of 12, and have been taking lessons and teaching art ever since. I was an art major at UNCCH and went on to use my degree in public school. I also begain working with decorators doing "faux painting" on walls and furniture. Presently I teach a class and paint on consignment for people, whether it be a still life painting or a pet portrait or a landscape. It is my passion.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
My style is very painterly. If you likea "tight" photographic look, then I suggest taking a photograph. A painting is an interpretation of a subject made by the artist , which incorporates his or style. A painting is totally unique and I consider painting " real art".
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just one, and may expand to chatham county, namely Pittsboro, in the near future.
